Sometimes an escape from the city is all it takes to free your mind and relax.  Just four hours outside of Berlin we took to Rügen to do just that!

With the town of Sassnitz as our base camp, it allowed us to explore the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jasmund National Park as well as sit on the shore and hear the waves crash against the cliffs.

The dense forest provided shade for a 20km trek north while the sea breeze kept us cool and fresh.
