HHV Portraits show members of our community dressed and styled by themselves to show their true character. From leather footwear to sneakers and slip-ons, hoodies to mohair and parkas, our community is dressed to impress. Working in fashion, finance or freelancing, we will highlight different individuals monthly and share the versatility our community has through their thoughts and feelings about where they are, what they are wearing, and much more\u2026<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/h4>\n

Who are you, where are you from, what do you do \u2013 and what do you do when you\u2019re not working?<\/h4>\n

Hi, I\u2019m Sina<\/a>, I\u2019m from Hamburg, and since I\u2019m currently between two jobs, I luckily have a lot of time to do what I love most when I\u2019m not working. The best thing for me is a slow morning with a thick book and two or three coffees in bed. Otherwise, I spend a lot of my free time cooking, going out, and doing sports. I also like to take on new challenges, like learning languages. When I am working, I\u2019m a store manager, buyer, and sometimes a stylist \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

What inspires you to be completely yourself and to dress the way you do? Are there people, music, or places that influence you?<\/h4>\n

My goal is always to be authentic and to feel comfortable in my own skin. Of course, I still let myself be inspired \u2014 often that happens subconsciously anyway \u2014 but nature, in particular, is a big source of inspiration for me. I love combining organic materials with technical ones, and I draw inspiration in my daily life from textures and color palettes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sneakers, boots, or ballerinas \u2013 what do you prefer to wear and why? Is there an accessory you never leave the house without?<\/h4>\n

Definitely sneakers. Even though I barely wear them outside the house at the moment, they\u2019re still my favorite shoes because I\u2019m a pragmatic person, and they\u2019re simply the most comfortable. One item I never leave the house without is my Porter by Yoshida key case \u2014 it fits everything important inside, so I don\u2019t have to carry an annoying bag.<\/p>\n

Which Berlin neighborhood best matches your style \u2013 and why? Do you have any caf\u00e9 or restaurant recommendations? And where do you go to relax or get creative?<\/h4>\n

Since I\u2019ve just recently moved (back) to Berlin, and the last time I lived here for a while was quite some time ago, I can\u2019t say for sure yet. I just know that I feel very comfortable here in Neuk\u00f6lln. I can definitely recommend the tacos at Dos Reyes or the cauliflower at Kitten Deli. When I want to relax or get creative, I usually do that at home \u2014 on my bed, by the open window, with the sun shining in. In summer, though, I also love lying by the Planufer.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next for you? And if you had to make a trend forecast for the next few years \u2013 what do you think is coming?<\/h4>\n

If everything goes well, my move to Berlin is coming up soon. I hope I\u2019ll still have time to realize a few free, creative projects before diving back into full-time work. My trend forecast for the next few years includes much more colorful clothing again, especially in the streetwear scene. I feel like we\u2019re currently dressing in a very colorless and laid-back way \u2014 that\u2019s going to change. Or maybe my friends and I are just getting older, and that\u2019s why we\u2019re all dressing more simply, haha.<\/p>\n
