Summertime is (almost) here and the latest newcomer of our brand range has the perfect timing. TAIKAN is the brainchild of a group of creatives based in Vancouver, Canada has specialized in the design and production of bags and accessories with a tastefully minimal design and a loud global message. The concept is simple and good: A sleek, modern look combined with a quality only found in upscale, high fashion brands. The people behind TAIKAN (pronounced \u00bbtaken\u00ab) was the feeling that the bag market was lacking designs that combine minimalistic design with a maximum of functionality. A TAIKAN item is characterized by a timeless look that blends with the aesthetics of tomorrow, while at the same time it conveys the feeling that no detail is out of place. TAIKAN bags have a very long life expectancy thanks to the use of exclusively high-quality materials such as ballistic nylon, a super-light but all the more tear-resistant RipStop fabric, and YKK zippers, stainless steel hardware as well as vegetable-tanned leather.<\/p>\n

In addition to the commonly known bag styles such as backpacks, hip bags, duffel bags and tote bags, TAIKAN has been taking care of one particular important accessories trend: The Sacoche Bag.<\/p>\n

Sacoche (French, literal meaning: bag or pouch<\/em>) is the name of those small, lightweight ripstop nylon pouches, which can be worn either across the shoulder or in front of the chest and which you definitely have seen on street style pictures from all over the world. Sighted for the first time in Japan, they quickly became a streetwear staple. The main season for this type of bag is summer, of course, when we spend more time outdoors: Whether we\u2019re hiking, on vacation, at festivals, in the park, cycling, skating or just cruising the city streets, a light bag for keys, mobile phone, pens, lighter, ID card, water, snacks, sunglasses and you name it, comes in handy.<\/p>\n
