HHV Classics<\/a>\u00a0piece embodies that sentiment.<\/strong><\/p>\nAs a retailer dealing in clothing, we thought it was important to put forth a series of products that we were proud of and that represented the values of HHV. We know that the world does not need more clothes. But we acknowledge that there is a need and almost a necessity for more durable and longer-lasting garments; pieces that you can invest in and will, in turn, look after you.<\/p>\n
From our perspective, sustainability and durability go hand in hand, but we stepped it up a little by using 100% GOTS-approved cotton in the construction of each piece. It\u2019s something we\u2019re consciously aware of and a priority for us going forward.<\/p>\n
From afar, designing and manufacturing a garment may seem like a seemingly straightforward process, but rest assured, behind each of our products is a rigorous and trying procedure. A process where if the balance is struck carefully between craftsmanship and value results in a superior product all-round. We knew that by putting the HHV name to the Classics range, literally and figuratively, that each product had to be representative of what we believe in.<\/p>\n
So, we spent months scouring locations across Europe before we finally stumbled upon this state-of-the-art facility in Barcelos, Portugal; a region synonymous with high-quality garment production. It\u2019s one aspect of the whole process but one of the most important in order to achieve an end product that mirrors previous sentiments. Each of our Classics products is finished to our exact standard and stands for something more than clothing: well-built, durable and timeless design.<\/p>\n
To be more transparent with all of you buying our garments, we produced a short film to provide a deeper insight into the process that goes into manufacture, from sourcing organic cotton to testing it for imperfections, then cutting the fabric into individual pieces.
