G.o.D.
Girls of Dust
G.o.D. Based and nurtured in Antwerp, Girls of Dust — by Rob Harmsen, Keith Hioco and Aline Walther — is an extension of the well versed creatives behind the brand. Dissecting the brands identity we see a range of influences from musical subcultures, Americana and skateboarding, to old western styles. Founded in 2010, the brand is the culmination of 25 years in the fashion industry, a continuation of the DIY attitudes so integral to the precursory Eat Dust, building collections around established, fundamental pieces, in the pursuit of a polished and timeless wardrobe. In doing so, the result is a select few key pillars, upon which evolutions are made for the development of new seasons and elevated silhouettes.
In order to appreciate G.o.D. we must explore Eat Dust and delve into Keith and Robs story. From its inception Eat Dust has focused heavily on originality, integrity and quality, all radiating so clearly in the lineup of refreshing textures and contemporary yet simple silhouettes. Placing immense weight on craftsmanship, expertise and human rights Eat Dust houses its production, sourcing and fabric development is retained in Europe, allowing for the duo’s meticulous attention to detail.
Now also designing menswear clothes but for girls, with a clear parallel to their eclectic artistic lifestyles. G.o.D. personality echos both Rob and Keiths upbringing raised on punk roc and skateboarding. A workwear, military and vintage aesthetic is distinct throughout G.o.D., but the other constant is iconic menswear, seamlessly translated to contemporary cool girls cuts.

G.o.D. focuses on everyday functionality being at the core of the label, using the above-mentioned aesthetic alongside iconic menswear, giving products an authentic artistic genderless quality to each piece.
