Paris Fashion Week
HHV Portraits show members of our community dressed and styled by themselves to show their true character. From leather footwear to sneakers and slip-ons, hoodies to mohair and parkas, our community is dressed to impress. Working in fashion, finance or freelancing, we will highlight different individuals monthly and share the versatility our community has through their thoughts and feelings about where they are, what they are wearing, and much more…
To kick off this project we took to the streets of Paris during fashion week with adidas and got talking to our community.
We kept it plain and simple and asked our community the following 5 questions…
Daniel Tran
My name is Daniel Tran, and I’m a producer/project manager at the Berlin-based consulting agency Beinghunted. When I’m not working, you can usually find me at an Asian restaurant.
What inspires you to be you and dress as you do? Which music, creatives and places do you draw inspiration from?
Honestly, my friends—both online and offline—are my biggest inspiration.
What brings you to Paris? Outside of PFW is there anything you want to see or do… or even better that you recommend for others?
We worked on the Gore-Tex Studio Showroom at Rue de Notre Dame Nazareth. This is my first time in Paris, but I haven’t had much time for sightseeing. I did manage to check out some friends’ showrooms, though.
Some people say their choice of footwear can tell you a lot about a person, why have you picked the adidas shoes you are currently wearing?
I picked the Taekwondos because they’re a timeless silhouette but also have a very interesting take on it. I’m really into flat shoes at the moment.
Moving on from footwear, what is your favourite piece right now and why? (Can be anything from accessories to outerwear)
This vintage blue Detroit cap from the ’80s, thrifted in Mexico. My girlfriend got it for me, and it’s my favorite right now.
Whats next… do you have your eyes on a creative, talent or certain piece that you see taking off in 2025?
My home, Vietnam. There are so many amazing creatives there right now putting Hanoi and Saigon on the map—from DJs to designers.
Luis Rotondaro
My name is Luis Rotondaro, i am the founder and co-owner of TIEMPOS Running. I am from Montreal, Canada. I run as much as possible!
What inspires you to be you and dress as you do? Which music, creatives and places do you draw inspiration from?
I think self confidence is something that you gain over time and through out that, it helps you dress a certain way and own what you wear, it shows! I listen to a lot of things, mainly rap/hip-hop and UK garage/house.
What brings you to Paris? Outside of PFW is there anything you want to see or do… or even better that you recommend for others?
I am at PFW for TIEMPOS but i am looking forward to go on early morning runs and discover the city while the sun rises! All the food here is great, i highly recommend grabbing a Jambon Beurre to go and walk around the city!
Some people say their choice of footwear can tell you a lot about a person, why have you picked the adidas shoes you are currently wearing?
I honestly think it’s true! I picked these Adidas shoes because they are super bring in color and fit well with a neutral outfit. The flat sole and overall silhouette of the shoe makes it even better to wear.
Moving on from footwear, what is your favourite piece right now and why? (Can be anything from accessories to outerwear)
100% the TIEMPOS jacket i’m wearing! The cropped look fits super well and is very comfortable.
Whats next… do you have your eyes on a creative, talent or certain piece that you see taking off in 2025?
All the Portal, Collin Meredith and ROA FW25 women’s line are in my opinion the most beautiful collections i’ve seen so far this week!
Yaya Touray
I am Yaya currently based in Berlin Content creator and model Very fun and chill personality that loves to dig into fashion-media in all types of forms. I also am a bit Sportsmad I love working out with friends playing football or going for a run. Food is my number one love besides my mom and travelling has to be my number two love.
What inspires you to be you and dress as you do? Which music, creatives and places do you draw inspiration from?
Definitely seeing other people doing their thing and being themselves also I have a very nonjudgemental environment where I can be myself, I don’t have to think about being judged by anyone of my friends for example. And most importantly self expression and being a black male role model. I can draw inspiration from almost everything tho it could be the colour or shape of a random flower or something on social media like a simple FITPIC
What brings you to Paris? Outside of PFW is there anything you want to see or do… or even better that you recommend for others?
There are a lot of things that bring me to Paris outside of fashion week first of all the city of Paris itself is a melting pot of different cultures which makes the city very unique. The architecture and landmarks are stunning tour eifel seine etc. I love to go to museums for example, CDP or Rodin and there are many more museums and galleries where you can be inspired and where you can see some of the oldest and best art in the world. Last, but not least the food and the terasse culture.
Some people say their choice of footwear can tell you a lot about a person, why have you picked the adidas shoes you are currently wearing?
Ahm I partly agree on that. I would say it definitely says a lot about a person on that specific day. I chose that shoe because it’s minimalistic very comfortable and black so I don’t have to think about styling it and the comfortability helps with me being on my 2 feet the whole day running from show to show or showroom. So today I choose functionality and simplicity first

Headwear beanies I just think they have something so joyful playful especially when they are colourful or made out of very interesting and fun textiles
Whats next… do you have your eyes on a creative, talent or certain piece that you see taking off in 2025?
Not really, I haven’t thought about that to be honest, but I have to say I have a feeling deep down in my guts that 2025 is going to be a very very good year for fashion I mean this paris fashion week FW25 Mens was insane already and just talking about it and rethinking all the shows it gives me goosebumps!
