Recap: Clarks Originals x Wu Wear

Since the early days of the Wu-Tang Clan’s breakthrough in the Nineties every fan knows that the crew members had a weakness for Clarks Wallabees. Way back, before the sneakers hype, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah wore this footwear gem and even dedicated the song »Gravel Pit« to it, with its famous lyrics: »Follow me, Wu-Tang gotta be, the best things since starks and Clarks Wallabees«.

The Clarks Originals x Wu Wear Wallabees are made out of exquisite suede and are true collector’s items due to their limited quantities. They come with a special embossment on left tongue »Enter the Wu-Tang« und »9 November 1993«, paying tribute to the Clan’s debut album »Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)«. The legendary logo of the crew can be found on the heel as well as on the suede hang tags. The suede originates from UK’s traditional tannery Charles F. Stead and is stain- and water resistant.

No better occasion to celebrate than a great release like this – so we paid our respect with an instore party at the HHV Store. While IAMNOBODI provided the perfect theme sounds, drinks were on the house as usual. The Wallabee WW was available November 23rd, 2018 in two colorways, black and marple. Free Haircuts to go by specialists Ebony & Ivory – Berlin’s best barbershop were also part of the amusements that night.
