Wash & Care Event Recap

Last Friday, we invited members of our community to participate in a GORE-TEX Wash & Care event. From product displays to interactive activities, our community got involved in all things GORE-TEX. They were able to bring a used GORE-TEX product that would be cared for externally while the event educated them on how to do so at home.

In order to understand how GORE-TEX functions guests were invited to place a glove on each hand, both gloves are waterproof however only one of them is GORE-TEX. After actively moving their hands for 30 seconds participants were asked to explain what they were feeling and if there were any differences. Some major differences were noticeable such as the breathability of the GORE-TEX glove.

Along with a selection of curated GORE-TEX products displayed including La Sportiva TX4 EVO GTX, ROA x TILAK Stinger Parka & Goldwin 0 Seed Shell Jacket images from a recent production were teased. The production entitled The Modern Escape highlighted the displayed products in an active use case in both a city and rural environment.
