HHV City Stories
Vienna
“HHV City Stories” continues its journey in Vienna, a city where old-world elegance meets a restless creative energy, and where tradition and fresh ideas live side by side. Over three days, the city showed both of its faces.
The trip began at the MuseumsQuartier and around Maria-Theresien-Platz, where Goldwin joined the exploration of one of Europe’s most striking cultural districts. From there, the “Bim,” as locals call the tram, led through the city to its iconic coffee houses for a Melange, the Viennese take on milk coffee. A visit to Belvedere Palace added a touch of imperial grandeur, and somewhere along the way a proper Schnitzel made sure the day didn’t run on culture alone.

The second day started more quietly, in another traditional coffee house, the kind of place where time seems to slow down. The pace changed completely at the Prater. Bumper cars and a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel turned a calm morning into a wild afternoon, and showed that Vienna’s playful side is as much a part of its character as its palaces.

On the final day, the Naschmarkt offered a glass of Sturm, the young wine of the season, along with plenty of other treats. With one last stroll to take in the city’s atmosphere, the journey came to a close in the evening and the team headed home.
