It’s never a bad day to take a day trip out of the city with some friends. It’s also never a bad day to come together in the city and share stories over fish and chips and Irn Bru.

This is exactly what we did starting and finishing in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. We took a day trip to the highlands to get a breath of fresh air inspired by the iconic movie, Trainspotting! After driving up the west coast of Loch Lomond we took our first step out of the car at the foothills of Glen Coe.

After a hike and coffee in the wilderness we returned to the car to get back to the city.

Food was on everyone’s mind and nothing was more appealing than fresh fish and chips. Naturally, to wash it all down we headed to the Ben Nevis Inn for a half and half (Whisky and a half pint of Beer).

Keeping dry in the wet from the cityscape to the rural landscape, GORE-TEX Product Technologies kept us safe from the elements. Safe to say we will be doing it again soon.
