This season, Vans has a special reason to celebrate: Anderson .Paak is the brand’s first global music ambassador. Anderson .Paak is an artist, musician and producer who smoothly grooves between the genres of (neo)soul, modern R n’ B and rap, creating kaleidoscopic sounds and killing it at every live performance. A real California Boy with many prominent fans including Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar, the artist has won three Grammy awards and has delivered the most popular NPR Tiny Desk Concert of all time with 57 million hits.

And no one who spends his youth in California can get past Vans. Anderson .Paak is not only a long-time fan of the Waffle Sole, he has actually worked at a Vans Store in Topanga Canyon, has been on stage at House of Vans, and has performed in Vans‘ global music content series Sidestripe Sessions.

It’s the dedication to music and art that brings Vans and Anderson .Paak together and makes this partnership complete. Both Vans and Anderson .Paak have been involved in promoting and supporting young artists for years and are now planning joint projects as part of their collaboration. Anderson .Paak is also a jury member of the Vans Musicians Wanted Contest, a platform for emerging artists from around the world.

Today marks the release of the first Vans x Anderson .Paak collection, which is dedicated to the two albums »Venice« and »Malibu«, showcasing vibrant colors and patterns and a lot of special details on all pieces.
