The “Hidden Gemstone” collection from On⁠

At HHV, we are always on the lookout for those hidden gems in the sneaker industry. This search has now come to an end thanks to the new Hidden Gemstone collection from On.

Twelve years after its initial launch, the Swiss company is staying true to its corporate philosophy and continues to develop new innovative technologies designed to provide the runner with soft landings and explosive take-offs. The founders David Allemann, Olivier Bernhard and Caspar Coppetti named this technology “CloudTec” which is also responsible for the unique look of the On running shoes, which feature a multitude of hollow spaces in the sole, called “clouds”.

With the Hidden Gemstone collection, On releases a Special Edition of the Cloudultra and The Roger Clubhouse, which feature the properties of the reflective Fluorite and Opal gemstone. For this unique collection, we have explored the spiritual context and meaning of these unique crystals.

The unique appearance of the Fluorite sets it apart from other gemstones and inspired the design of the special edition Cloudultra Fluorite. The stone radiates a mesmerizing fluorescent luminescence and can be found in more than seven different colours, including pink, green, purple and blue. The Fluorite was already treasured as a healing stone by the ancient Greeks, helping its holder gain mental clarity and inner peace. In addition, the stone cleanses the atmosphere, removes negativity and provides positive energy. Beyond that, Fluorite increases self-confidence, the ability to focus as well as internal balance.

Due to its characteristic iridescent sparkle, the opal is one of the most sought-after gemstones. This unique appearance was the main source of inspiration for the colourway of the special edition of The Roger Clubhouse Opal. Similar to Fluorite, Opal has been considered one of the strongest healing stones since antiquity and has always been regarded as the protective stone for love and hope. In addition, this unique gemstone is supposed to give the wearer tranquillity and vitality and strength.

The Hidden Gemstone collection is thus much more than just Swiss engineering but combines performance, body and soul.
